STATE OF OSUN COMMITTEE ON FIRE HAZARD AND SAFETY VISIT UNIOSUN

The Chairman and members of the State of Osun Committee Fire Hazard and Public Safety, Alhaji Oguntola Toogun paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola, on Wednesday February 21, 2018. The Chairman in his remarks discussed the need to be vigilant to safety and urged the university to pay special attention hazardous materials capable of igniting fire. He also advised that the university to buy-in to the Fire and Safety workshops being organized by the Committee to enlighten and educate both staff and students as well as other members of the university. The Vice Chancellor, while welcoming the committee expressed the appreciation of the university to for finding time to pay a visit to the university. He also promised the committee that university would always prioritise the issue of safety at all times.
